Dear Mr. Franz,
We would like to address an issue we have in the school about locker breaks. As current sophomores we have learned the five minutes isn't enough time to get from one building to another, and to go to your locker. Some students have classes all the way from building one to the ATC building. They find themselves rushing and on the verge of being tardy almost everyday.
We don't have time to go to the restroom between classes. Most students have to go during class, taking away from the short amount of time we have to learn. Teachers give us incentives not to use the restroom and we endanger our bodies or lose class time.
A solution that we have is to extend the time between classes or give more frequent breaks. Ten minutes would be a perfect amount of time, however , seven minutes would cut down the number of tardies, and number of students going to the restroom during class.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. We really hope you consider our recommendations for future scheduling.
Sincerely,
The Red Group
