Janie's been sucked into so many dreams that its a regular routine for her. Janie cannot tell anyone about what happens because no one would believer her. I mean who would believe someone that could supposedly go in and out of peoples dreams. She lives with an ability that she doesnt want nor does she know how to control. When Janie starts going into so many different dreams, she starts to be a participant in the dream.

Journal: From Grammar-Karlee

I ran quickly to the base as I hit the ball (prepositional). To hit a home run was my first goal(infinitive). As i was running i noticed the ball was still headed to the outfield, so i kept on going. I was afraid the the old, grey haired umpire with the crooked teeth, would yell foul(appositive). My arms pumping, my legs moving, I was hoping i would make it to home (absolute). Digging my cleats into the annoying, sticky mud, I was afraid I wouldn't make it (gerund). Sliding into home, closing my eyes, hearing the crowd go crazy, i made it home (participle).

Walking anxiously, Jerry finally got the chance to go to the wild beach(participle). Jerry went on vacation with his mother to a nice beautiful beach where everything was safe. His eyes swelling, nose bleeding, and lungs closing Jerry realizes his adventure at the wild beach may be his last(absolute). He saw a group of boys swimming through a tunnel so he decided he would try it. Scrapping at the tunnel's sides Jerry scrambled to get out(Gerund). To swim swiftly was Jerry's goal(infinitive). He swam frantically(prepositional). Better than he ever had. When he finally reached home, out of breath and looking for rest a mother greeted him, a sweet loving woman(appositive).

Journal Entry: Tiffany Thomas

A widow takes her son to the beach where they are they are spending their vacation for a day. The boy gets permission and goes to the bigger beach, where some boys, whom he can't understand, lead him in the discovery of a tunnel. The boy practices holding his breath everyday until he can hold it long enough to make it through.

I held my breath for the longest time!

I had jumped into the water, and just kept sinking, seeing how far down i could go. I touched the bottom finally! I came swimming up, but didn't think i could hold my breath long enough to reach the surface. However, i did, i held my breath as a long as a Frog under water!

Cats
I like cats
They lay on mats

People dress them in funny hats

i saw one chase a mouse

all over the purple house

i also like dogs

even though they eat like hogs

they bark at strangers

and dont realize dangers

Softball , my pride and joy

On the line home run

Fast and light I wish I could run

Tough behind the plate

Bursting with energy, I save the day

All the excitement leaves you wanting more

Left field sure has a good hole

Lifetime of games ahead of me, I definitely want this for sure

Yesterday, we had our last soccer game. We were in the district tournament and were playing Bourbon County. In the first half we were losing two to zero. At the end of the game the score was six to one. Last year we lost to Bourbon in the same tournament, we lost in pk's and it was a really emotional game. After the game, our coach Follet gave us a talk about "how hard we played" and "how much we have improved throughout the year." I didn't really agree that much with the talk he gave to us because I didn't feel that everything he said was completley true. Our season is now over and I'm looking forward to the next season.

Emily is crazy
She is also very lazy
She has brown hair
And can give an evil glare
Sometimes she can be funny
like when she stepped on her pet bunny
She text on her phone non stop!
Ale-8 is her favorite pop
She's staying with me for the week
Sometimes i could just punch her in the cheek
She is my best friend
and that will never end!
